Richard did a lovely job on our bay tree and the front hedge. Prices very, very good. Would have him back in a heartbeat.
A proper haircut for your hedges.
Friendly, no-fuss hedge trimming from a family-run team in Sandwich. We turn up when we say, leave the edges sharp and the ground swept , and we won't bore you with jargon. Covering Sandwich, Deal, Worth, Ash, Woodnesborough, Eastry and Sandwich Bay.
Two things. Done properly.
We don't pretend to do everything. Hedges, and the ones that have gone a bit wild. That's it.
Hedge Trimming

Overgrown Hedge Rescue
Two summers of neglect? A leylandii that's taken the light? We bring tall, wide, runaway hedges back to size, gently, so they grow back green.
See how it works
The team from up the road.
Richard's lived in Sandwich for years. You've probably nodded at him at the Co-op, or seen the van parked up near the Quay. We're not a big faceless outfit, we're two lads and a dad, with sharp blades and a proper rake.
From a clipped front-garden privet on Strand Street to a runaway leylandii out towards Eastry, we treat every hedge like it's ours. That said, it's not ours, so we'll always ask before we take anything drastic off the top.
What the neighbours say
Our leylandii was well over eight foot and blocking all the light. They took it down to size over two visits and explained every step. Top lads.
Quick reply on a Monday, quote by Tuesday, hedge done on the Thursday. Swept the drive before they left, that's the bit most people miss.
Friendly, on-time, no mess. Can't ask for more than that.

Read the guideThe ones we get asked every week
How much does a hedge trim cost?
Honest answer, it depends. A twenty-foot privet running along the front is a very different job to a six-foot leylandii round the back. We quote every hedge after a look or a photo, and we stick to the number. No "extras" on the day.
Will you take the clippings away?
Yes. Always included, never a surprise line on the invoice. Sheets down, rake, final sweep, clippings loaded. You'll get the drive back cleaner than you'd cut it yourself.
When can you actually come?
Most weeks we can be there within 5–7 days. Peak summer gets busier, if you're in a rush, text us a photo and we'll tell you honestly what slot we've got.
Is it too late to cut now?
Rarely. For most species, if it's grown, it can come off. The one we watch is leylandii, cut too hard into bare wood and it won't come back. If you've got a borderline case, we'll tell you before we start.
Are you the same team as Sandwich Lawn Mowing?
Same family, same van. Richard runs both. Hedges got busy enough to deserve their own shop, so here we are.
